After a hiatus exploring other artistic endeavors, Jon Harrison Taylor (JHT) has returned home to his musical roots. The youngest son of R&B legend Johnnie Taylor and former Robin Thicke guitarist is back creating his brand of Stax and Motown-influenced future-retro soul music.  The smooth vocals on his new, funk-infused R&B track “Love & Affection” (dropping on Dec 1st)  are sure to leave his listeners longing for their lover and the stank beat will have them stomping their funky feet.

At 15, Jon started singing lead vocals and playing guitar in rock bands and continued to lead groups throughout college. After moving to Los Angeles, Jon spent much of his time recording and traveling the world as a professional lead guitarist on Sony/Epic and Interscope. He has played shows across the US and Europe and has appeared on Ellen, Soul Train, Top of the Pops, and more. After years on the road, Taylor decided to refocus his energies and focus on recording and producing.
